One of my favorite brick and mortar retailers is Menards. The retailer has made some changes due to the pandemic like mask mandates, and better delivery and pick up options. The retailer made these changes because of the pandemic though the delivery and pick up options may stay after the pandemic is over. I believe one of the main drivers of retail is the consumer and technology. Retailers always want to supply the demand of the consumer. Also the retailer wants to reach the consumer and their target market where they are at and this is where technology comes in via E-commerce like social media as well as providing an online presence for the consumers that typically shop online.
